At the last minute, I decided to take a short break.

The reason I am being that irresponsable is pretty easy--I ran out of time this week. With the amount of work I was doing out at our church the last couple of months, it's LITERALLY been finish-comic-at-last-minute. I slept through Saturday. Straight through. Woke up in time for the Grand Opening of our new building and then...went back to sleep. Then woke up really, really early Sunday morning with the low-grade pain in my right wrist that I've learned means I've overused that hand and it needs to be not-used for a couple of days. As my pages are taking two days to do, start to finish, I knew it'd be late if I took a day off...but I kinda needed to.

I KNOW I technically didn't do the comic for two months, but I was working the whole time, from about three pm to eleven pm, on murels. Getting the tablet back lead to an orgy of creation, which I should have known better to indulge in, and now I'm tired, my hand is tired and I NEED, badly, to decompress.

I will do my best to update Thursday. I will not promise, but I will do my best. But I'm tired and I'd rather do a good job on a late page than a sucky job on an on-time page.

I am NOT going to vanish for two months. My tablet is fine. I'm Ok. I'm taking Creator's Perogative again. See ya'll thursday. - Chelsea Gaither
