AAAAND We're BACK! - Tuesday, March 20, 2007 Note: I want help putting something together. Go here pick your favorite picutre from my stuff and let me know what it is, either through the forum or the tagboard. I've got something in mind for whatever ya'll want most by the end of the week. TABLET'S BACK! YES!
Story's back too, of course.
Not too much to say here...I'm more eager to go to bed than work on anything else right now.
So first of all...YOU GUYS ROCK. OUT. I didn't have to pay for the tablet. AT ALL. You guys paid for it all. I am freaking amazed, and defenately will have to figure out a "thank the raving fans" thing. It'll probably be wallpaper, but I promise it'll be something pretty. And there will be something. There has to be. I should be kissing ya'll's collective feet right now.
As for how I've been during this...ah, quiet peroid...I haven't exactly lacked for work. As some of ya'll know, I go to a LARGE church in the area, and vollenteered to, and I am quoting here "help paint murels". Fifteen. To be done by Wednesday. There's one left, and in the origional plan, not mine to do. However, it has been decided that I am to complete it, and I think I added the last nail to my coffin when I painted an ice-cream cone in one tenticle of the octopus. Not only do I have to finish the octopus with minimal help from other people (they would help, but they don't have my uber-shiny style, and, according to my mother, help would be a bit like mixing genres.) but I may be "politely requested" to paint the 3d ice-cream shop shaped like the biggest banana split I've ever seen in my life...using giant, mutant irradiated bananas (made of styrafoam). Now, my church isn't one of those where the pastor is the voice second-only-to-god...but I think even that would be easier to say "no" to than the absolutely-exausted-and-just-out-of-the-hospital associate pastor who will,I am sure, be doing the requesting. All I can think is, God, please let her forget. Please. PLEASE. PLEASE GOD IN HEAVEN DON'T MAKE ME PAINT A 3D GIANT BANANA SPLIT.
....did I mention I've been doing this from ten in the morning until ten at night the last couple of weeks? I'm tired. It's worth it, but...damn. I'm tired.
And of course, as if I'm not masochistic enough...I've got another computer painting in the works. If ya'll don't check out the gallery often/never have, please do--I've got stuff in there that shames what's out here, *cough*andyoucanbuyprintsifyouwant*cough*...what? Allergies! and keep an eye out. I'm restarting the Elemental Ballet series that precicely one of you is aware of--I've advanced so far in art, it's not worth it to keep poor, funky-looking "Air" around the other three, and I really want to change the pose--and the first one should be done in a couple of days. I don't really expect anybody to CARE, exactly, but I'm freaking proud of it. It's the best thing I've done, ever, and darn it, it's my website, I can talk about what I want, so there.
