Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're off!

Well, we do have one more bit of fan art to put up, tomorrow (It's a wednesday. We don't usually update on wednesdays). Under normal circumstances, it would have gone up yesterday, but...well, yesterday was...yesterday. I did not feel like putting a 9/11 comic up (though a blank white "stop and think for a second" page was tempting) because I don't think that's really nessesary or approprete. I'd do it for me, not for the people who died, and I was not personally effected by 9/11. I didn't do a memory thing for Katrina, and that effected me more than 9/11 did. Don't take me wrong...it was a bad day. A lot of people died, and if we EVER forget about it, we've probably lost whatever vistages of santiy we have left. But I'm not going to exploit national greif by posting a "look how sad I still am after five years--look at me look at me" thing. I want to be respectful, and I felt it would be more respectful to not post ANYTHING, then it would be to post something. If you're American, you're thinking about it.

That being said, I promised that if you submitted fan/guest art, it would get posted. So the last little bit goes up tomorrow.

Anyway...I'm really looking forward to this chapter. I rediscovered the joys of drawing by hand--the line art for this and the rest of the pages for this chapter are all drawn by hand. I like it. I screw up less that way. The updates themselves are going to be a little bit...ah, larger. (big bristol board drawing surface=more room to put panels).
