It's July Fourth, the loveliest excuse for controlled distruction America ever invented, aside from Mythbusters and Demolition Derbies. It's the one day of the year that America (or at least Texans) can indulge in guilt free beef and beer and explode hapless vegitables, cans and toys without getting caught. There's also some historical significance, but that's been lost to the annals of time. Who cares! GIMME FIREWORKS! (/sarcasm)

...I live too far away from downtown to go watch the fireworks. :( Of course I could drive there, watch a twenty minute show and spend three hours stuck in traffic. Happy Birthday USA.
