Yay, I'm alive!!! :D
ALright, first things first...the page. The last several pages are the ones I am most proud of, because of the water effects. I spent a whole YEAR trying to guess at how to do water, as liquids were going to be pretty important in the story. Some liquids are opaque (um, blood being the only one I can think of) and easy enough to do, but clear, reflective water/transparent liquids? Um...little more difficult. So these pages were when it clicked. Hopefully, it'll stay clicked.
In case it's not clear, Lucy took a bottle of the Glowy Blue Stuff with her. The splash is her jumping off the island. Hopefully, I now look dumb for stating the obvious. (been around WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy too many customers lately).
News: Not much. Though I highly, highly suggest you set this weekend aside for going to the movies and go see The Cronicles of Narnia. I am a HUGE fan of the books and from the previews I've seen, the directors nailed it. How well do I think they did? I knew EXACTLY what the preview was for about three seconds into the preview...and all they had were four children wandering around in a mantion. BTW it was like seeing your first love all grown up and rich, ready to marry you. :D. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was the first book I ever read, not counting Doctor Suess. That says a lot. Please, gang, make this movie do well so we can convince Hollywood to raid the Sci-Fi and Fantasy sections of Barnes and Noble a little more often. There's a LONG list of books I want to see on the screen, and two of the titles (TLTWTW and Magic Kingdom for Sale...SOLD! by Terry Brooks) are making it. Lets see more more More MORE!
Besides, it's either go see the movie or go torture a casheir with more Christmas presents. Unless you don't celebrate Christmas. In which case, you are probably smarter than I am.
